• MISSION

Xcentrik Solutions is a Training Provider that supports both young people and adults facing a range of socio-economic disadvantages such as Poverty, Homelessness, Unemployment, Mental and Physical Health, enabling them to acquire training and employability skills. We do this by partnering with high-quality tutors trained to increase the knowledge, confidence, and quality of life of our clients. The training center is open to all who are disadvantage by life's circumstances.  Every individual who attends our training center will have an initial assessment done with them, their training needs and development will be tailored to their individual needs. The training center offers our clients group learning or one-to-one learning sessions. We strive to discover the unique qualities of everyone accessing our services to meet their individual needs. We value the diversity brought to Xcentrik solution by our clients, staff, and volunteers, understanding how this contributes significantly to the effectiveness of the services we offer.

Xcentrik Solutions  is for the advancement of education among the public generally and, in particular, but not by way of limitation, lone parents, ethnic minorities, those with complex needs ranging from people suffering the effects of substance abuse or dependency, homelessness, insecure accommodation, unemployment and problems with mental and physical health by:-  a) the provision of training or retraining opportunities and b) the provision of support and activities which develop their skills. 

Over 300,000 people are homeless in Great Britain and most of them are sheltered in hostels or temporary accommodation. Not having a reliable, permanent place to call home affects their ability to find work. The Claimant Count, which is the number of people claiming benefit principally for the reason of being unemployed, increased in April 2020 to 2.1 million. This represents a monthly increase of 69.1%. The UK is internationally comparable in high-level skills but has deficits at intermediate and low skill levels. While the number with no skills has nearly halved in the last ten years and the number of working-age individuals with a Level 2 qualification is estimated to have risen by over 1 million since 2003, the figures still make sobering reading. 35% of the working-age population does not have the equivalent of a good school leaving qualification, more than double the proportion in Canada, the United States of America, and Germany. 4.6 million have no qualifications at all, 5 million working-age people lack functional literacy, and 7 million lack functional numeracy. 

We recognize that for many individuals a lack of education can be a contributing factor to their chaos. We will provide easily accessible courses that offer the opportunity to learn in a positive and supportive environment and to acquire skills that will enable them to progress further with either more training or employment opportunities. 

Xcentrik Solutions helps individuals who face barriers getting into work by guiding them in figuring out what profession they could move into, finding the relevant training, and supporting them through training courses. We focus on the people who are looking for work and aim to help them move out of homelessness or temporary accommodation to a sustainable living situation. For people who have been out of employment for a significant amount of time due to redundancy and looking for employment, their CV may show a lack of relevant experience. For some job roles, this shows an inability to do the role on offer. Xcentrik Solutions can help bridge this gap. We know that when individuals are out of work because of a mental health problem it is important that they can get good support. That means the right benefits so that they can manage their money and bills when they are too unwell. Xcentrik Solutions will build trust and ensure that each client is treated as an individual and can be supported and empowered to make informed choices and take control of their lives

Xcentrik Solutions was founded by  Femi Adewusi in 2020. Having seen first-hand the difference tutoring could make. Femi  set about establishing an organisation that could make the benefits of tutoring available to those who are vulnerable, socio – economically disadvantaged and with complex needs.
